Hotspots detected in the last 7 days by province, with that province's latest ground PM2.5 reading.
⚠ A hotspot is not a fire, and a count is not blame. It is a thermal anomaly in a ~375m satellite pixel. Cloud hides them, industrial heat and gas flares trigger them, and one fire spanning several pixels is counted several times. A province may rank high simply because the sky was clear when the satellite passed.

Province PM2.5 is the mean of that province's stations from their latest reading within 24 hours. Bangkok has around 60 stations while most provinces have one, so averaging per station is what makes provinces comparable. A -1 in the source means not measured, not zero, and is excluded.
